This Cookies Policy explains how Deepage FZ-LLC ("Deepage," "we," "us") uses cookies and similar technologies on deepage.io and in the Deepage app. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.
01 What cookies are
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They help the site function, remember your preferences, and understand how visitors use it. We also use similar technologies such as localStorage and URL parameters (e.g., UTM tags), which this Policy covers under the same rules.
02 The cookies we use
Essential cookies (always on)
Required for the site and app to work — they cannot be switched off in our systems.
| Purpose | What it does | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| Authentication / session | Keeps you signed in to your account | Session / up to 30 days |
| Security | Protects against cross-site request forgery and abuse | Session |
| Preferences | Remembers basic settings (e.g., cookie consent choice) | Up to 12 months |
Analytics cookies (Google Analytics)
We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use our site — which pages are viewed, how long visits last, and general usage patterns. Google Analytics sets cookies (e.g., _ga, _ga_*) that assign a pseudonymous identifier to your browser. We use this data in aggregate to improve the site and the Service.
Google may process this data on servers outside your country. You can learn how Google uses data at google.com/policies/privacy/partners and opt out of Google Analytics across all sites via the browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
| Cookie | Provider | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
_ga | Distinguishes visitors | Up to 24 months | |
_ga_* | Maintains session state | Up to 24 months |
Attribution cookies (first-party)
We run our own internal tracking to understand where our visitors come from — for example, whether you arrived from a search engine, a directory listing, a social post, or an email. To do this we store, in a first-party cookie or localStorage:
- The referrer URL of the page that linked you to us;
- Campaign parameters in the URL (e.g.,
utm_source,utm_medium,utm_campaign); - Your landing page and first-visit timestamp.
If you later create an account, we associate this attribution data with your account so we know which channel brought you to Deepage. This data is used only for our own marketing measurement — it is never sold or shared with advertisers.
| Cookie / storage | Provider | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
dp_attribution | Deepage (first-party) | Stores referral source and UTM parameters | Up to 12 months |
Advertising cookies
We do not currently use third-party advertising or retargeting cookies. If this changes (for example, if we run retargeting campaigns), we will update this Policy and request consent where required before setting them.
03 Your choices
- Consent banner: where required by law (e.g., for visitors from the EU/EEA and UK), non-essential cookies are set only after you consent via our cookie banner, and you can change your choice at any time via the cookie settings link in the footer.
- Browser controls: most browsers let you block or delete cookies in settings. Blocking essential cookies may prevent parts of the Service (such as signing in) from working.
- Google Analytics opt-out: available at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
- Do Not Track / Global Privacy Control: where legally required, we honor recognized opt-out signals such as GPC.
04 Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy as our use of cookies changes. The "Last updated" date reflects the current version; material changes will be announced on the site.
